Whale Season in Hermanus.

Whale season along the south coast of South Africa brings with it the annual Whale Festival held in Hermanus. Said to be the only enviro-arts festival in South Africa, the festival heralds the return of the magnificent Southern Right Whales, to the waters of Walker Bay, as well as signaling the beginning of springtime. This year’s festival will have a strong focus on marine life and the protection there of.
Bringing together musical acts, such as Karen K, Emo Adams, Gift Gwe and Amore Vittone, a plethera of crafters, sport celebrities, as well as providing plenty of informative talks on the whales and our environment, this year’s festival is sure to entertain the whole family.
Of course one can not forget about the stars of the festival. The Whales are in town and, as usual, promise to offer plenty of magic moments, so bring the kids, bring the cameras and get ready for another bumper Whale Watching Season.
